What is the shelf life of your dog treats and how do they need to be stored?
Just like your local bakery, we bake your dog treats fresh to your order for the best quality gourmet dog treats upon arrival. Our dog treats do not need to be
refrigerated but refrigeration will help extend shelf life by at least 2 weeks and helps brownies or cupcakes stay soft and moist longer. Because our treats are
made with no added chemical preservatives, it is best to store them in an airtight container ............... if there are still any left. Please take care not to leave treats
decorated with carob or white chocolate in the sun or hot conditions.
A good "rule of thumb" is to store our dog treats how you would normally store your fresh baked cookies from your kitchen. Shelf life for most of our biscuit type
bakery treats is 8 weeks and for softer dog treats such as doggie cupcakes or brownies is 3 weeks. We recommend storing our brownie and cake treats in the
refrigerator. Treats may be stored in freezer for extended life for several months and we recommend letting treats thaw out to room temperature before opening
container to ensure no excess moisture on treats.
Do you use preservatives in your dog treats and are the ingredients safe for dogs?
All of our treats are hand made fresh from scratch using wholesome ingredients that can be found in your own kitchen such as oatmeal, honey, non-fat dry milk,
whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, natural roasted peanuts (no oily peanut butter is used), egg and olive oil. There is no added chemical preservatives,
additives, artificial colorings, artificial flavors, sugar or salt. We use the finest USDA approved quality baking ingredients, using only ingredients that are safe for
your pet including decorations made with carob or white chocolate. White chocolate is safe for dogs since it is not made from cocoa beans with theobromine.
Healthy Olive oil is used in our gourmet treats instead of butter, Canola or Vegetable oil as a healthy alternative and for the added shiny smooth coat goodness.

How long does it take to process my order and ship?
Once we received your order online, we bake you dog treats fresh to order within business 2 days, Monday - Friday. All orders are shipped via Priority Mail which
usually delivers within 2 business days to ensure best quality and freshness upon arrival. During the Holidays, orders may take longer and please allow extra
time for delivery.
While we have control over when we bake your orders, we have no control over the Postal service. If you need your bakery items by a specific date, please allow for
arrival a few days before your celebration or event.
What if my order arrives damaged or I am unsatisfied with my products?
Jackboy's Dog Bakery stands behind all our products and strive for 100% customers satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please
contact us immediately after receiving your order for online store credit or replacement instructions.
